Panel to showcase how quantum technology benefits national security
PALO ALTO, Calif. – January 21, 2025 -- D-Wave Quantum Inc. (NYSE: QBTS) (“D-Wave” or the “Company”), a leader in quantum computing systems, software, and services and the world’s first commercial supplier of quantum computers, today announced that it will participate in the 2025 Defense R&D Summit, hosted by the Potomac Officers Club, on January 23 in McLean, Virginia. The summit will explore the cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of the U.S. military.
Allison Schwartz, D-Wave’s Vice President of Global Government Relations and Public Affairs, will moderate a panel at 1:00 PM ET entitled "Quantum Technology: Providing New Solutions for Today’s Military.” The discussion will focus on a variety of topics including how emerging technologies, such as quantum computing, can help provide solutions to today’s defense-related challenges, development timelines for different quantum technologies, and how the U.S. Department of Defense can identify use cases to support defense R&D.
“Quantum computing can provide innovative solutions for a variety of different national security applications,” said Schwartz. “As the defense R&D community explores transforming and modernizing public services, this discussion will highlight the important role of quantum technologies.”
